Many successful and attractive outdoor space designs have movement. In this project, the movement flows from the deck to the fire pit. The shape is almost like a slow drip and you can see and feel a fluid motion from the steps. The patio tapers off and then becomes a circle with the fire pit in the middle. The natural flagstone patio has cool, uneven coloring, which is reminiscent of water. The fire pit is the visual focal point and invites family and guests to have a seat and enjoy the yard and conversation.
